Yacht buyer’s friend

If you want to buy a sailing yacht and are new to sailing or yacht ownership, then the buying process can be a minefield. You can struggle through on your own or use Rob Gibson’s consultancy.

Rob and his associates are at your service. They will steer you effortlessly and efficiently through the mazes and expensive dead ends that await the prospective yacht owner. Acting as your expert “friend” they will produce a shortlist of potential yachts that are suited to your needs, available, sensibly priced, and worth taking to survey.

They will save you money by avoiding wasted time, travel and surveys. By cutting through the “Broker Speak” they will save you from buying the wrong vessel.

Having bought your boat they will be on hand to advise on equipment changes, repairs and modifications, rig set up, insurance, moorings, and if necessary help with delivery to the boats new home. They will then be on hand to provide any tuition that you may require, whether in sailing, navigation, using the radio, radar and chart plotter, or how to park the boat.
